While the summer may be a season to take some time off, I like to keep abreast of what’s going on in my industry locally. In particular, there are two upcoming real estate conferences. There is the RealShare Orange County Conference on August 18th, 2015 at the Hotel Irvine, in Irvine. The agenda and list of speakers looks to be pretty interesting. Also, there is the RealShare Apartments Convention on October 21-22, 2015 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. At conferences, besides what I learn from the seminars, I always like getting the opportunity to network with other professionals. I love being able to find out about different new deals that my investor buyer clients might be interested in. When I am face-to-face with someone during a convention, I can also pitch my listings directly to people who may be looking for properties that I represent.
