With the Holidays ahead, some people prefer to put off big decisions until after the New Year. Given what has happened over the past 12 months in our local market to property prices, I think that there is still a lot of energy out there. Last month, I was floored by the size of the crowd that attended the RealShare Apartments 2013 Conference in LA. There were well over 2,000 people in attendance. The atmosphere felt electric with all of the wheeling and dealing between real estate investors, brokers, and other professionals walking about. The upcoming Net Lease West event at the California Club going on November 19 – 20 is also another RealShare event. If you are keen on keeping up on what’s happening in the net lease market, and love to network with other dealmakers, then check it out.
In my opinion, the real estate market never sleeps. There is always action out there, whether it’s up, down, or sideways. Finding deals is about being passionate and diligent. Opportunities often happen when you are in the right place, at the right time, with the right attitude.
