Because I don’t have a crystal ball, I often find that going to real estate conferences helps me learn what’s happening in our industry. Listening to what successful people have to say during and after their presentations is a great way to get a pulse on what’s happening. Regarding investment and financing opportunities in Orange County, I’m looking forward to attending the upcoming RealShare Orange County conference on August 22, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Irvine. There is no doubt that property prices have escalated since the start of the Great Recession. How long and sustained this recovery will be is anyone’s guess, but I’m sure there will be plenty of forecasting going on at the RealShare event. A major reason I like going to conferences is the ability to network with other real estate professionals. When it comes to finding investment deals, I pride myself in delivering my clients a good scoop and cutting edge information whenever I hear of it. Of course, attending conferences gives me the opportunity to also promote my property listings to a crowded room full of investors and real estate professionals.
