As a real estate broker, there always seems to be something new happening in the field of property investment and finance. It’s my passion to stay current on the marketplace so that my clients can benefit. One of my favorite ways of learning about deals, people, and changes in our industry is by attending various real estate conferences. An important show I’m looking forward to attending is the Realshare Investment and Finance Conference on June 17-18 at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego.
The list of seminars on the agenda looks compelling. I’m particularly interested in learning about alternative and non-traditional funding sources. Whether it’s mezzanine lenders, bridge financing, or equity partners, I love being aware of different sources for money. In real estate, when you have the funds, the world is your oyster. Another interest of mine is keeping up with what’s going on with REITs and how they continue to dominate the headlines with their huge transactions. Besides being magnets for money, real estate investment trusts continue to have huge appetites for new property acquisitions. As a real estate broker, that means getting the chance to promote my clients’ properties in front of those eager buyers.
After nearly 2 decades as a Realtor, the bottom-line is not just about providing remarkable service, but to create new opportunities and success for my clients and their families. Networking and learning from other professionals at industry events often helps me source out new opportunities and ideas.
